Getting to Geto Kogen by car
Geto Kogen is easy to get to from different directions and multiple expressway IC exits.
In winter,snow tires or other means of avoiding sliding are required.
25 minutes from Kitakami Nishi IC (Akita Expressway)

40 minutes from Kitakami Ezuriko IC (Tohoku Expressway)
Recommended for customers coming from Morioka
30 minutes from Kitakami Kanegasaki IC (Tohoku Expressway)

Car park information
There is parking for up to 3,000 vehicles.There is a one-day parking charge of 500 yen on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays and over the New Year period (29th December until 3rd January) on Center Parking.
Other car parks (general car parks P1-P5) are free to use every day.
Please note that to ensure the safety of snow removal work, the road to the ski area is closed daily from 11:00pm until 5:00am.
Snow roads and snow removal
Snow is cleared from roads leading up to Geto Kogen early in the morning. In the case of heavy snow, some snow may remain on the roads, but snow tires will be fine. Toilets in the building are available from 7:00am.If you are driving a 2WD vehicle, be extremely careful driving on icy and snowy roads.

※Santa House, Mizukami Onsen, and Semi Onsen stop along the main road. Please note that the bus does not stop at the facility entrance.
※Please refrain from wearing ski boots in the shuttle bus.
※The bus may be delayed due to traffic conditions. Please use the Shinkansen on your way home in plenty of time.
※For stops near the station bound for Kitakami Station, priority may be given to those arriving at Kitakami Station.
※As much as possible, please put your skis, poles, etc. in a case or cover.
※Please attach a name holder etc. to your luggage so that you do not mix up your luggage.

When you get off the Shinkansen platform at Kitakami Station, proceed to the East Exit.
There is only one bus stop outside the East Exit, so you should easily spot it.
Look out for the Geto Kogen name and logo!
